  • if the colors have moved more than 1" apart the convergance drive circuit needs repaired, quite common on bigscreens
  • I have the same TV, had the same problem. After researching, I concluded that it was my IC convergence modules. I called around to see about repairing them, avg cost was going to be $300-$400, I decided to try it myself, figuring if I screwed it up, I'd just buy a new LCD TV. I ordered new Modules for $35 online, but ended up not needing them. When I took the TV apart, I found out that a couple solder joints on the existing IC convergence modules cracked. I resoldered them and works like new again. I had no tv repair experience before this, and thought it was quite easy, just take your time and be careful.
