Believers: Do you feel offended when an Atheist asks or answers a question about your faith? How often do you rate their questions and/or answers as Not Helpful just because they are an Athesist's view? And how do you feel after doing so?

whhhoooo boy, I don't know how many will be truthful here but as a nihilist/athiest I get tons of downscores for asking religious questions or answering them and putting in my 2 cents. This will be an interesting one to see how many people fess up to. just for the record I NEVER rate them down just because their views differ from mine! WWJD Ab'ers?

I'm not offended when an atheist asks or answers a question. I don't think I have ever rated their answers or question down. Every answer or question is an opportunity to share. People sometimes get a little passionate in their sharing on both sides, but that just means they believe in what they are saying. That is no reason to rate them down.

I would not DR someone for having an opposing view. I get annoyed if the response is rude, mocking, or otherwise intended to be hurtful. I think debating faith can help an atheist 'see the light' or at least might open up their minds to ideas they haven't considered.

I'm really on the fence with this question. I don't consider myself to be either religious or an atheist. The first 18 years of my life while living at home, I had a serious over dose of religion. My position now is that I just don't care one way or the other, and I almost never down rate and answer unless it's a personal attack and not on topic.
