I am a Phlebotomist/Laboratory Assistant/MA. It requires certifications and schooling based on the state you live in. Skills needed depend on what type of job you choose...I've done everything from HIV research to substance abuse to geriatrics. I would only recommend this career to those who have a strong stomach and a strong sense of compassion.
