In England a UK citizen with appropriate skills, or an EU citizen with the same skills, can accomplish just about any task needing to be done. If you, as a US citizen, have skills to offer that are unique or in demand sufficient to require the UK to import your type of skill, then you stand a good chance of getting in. The first step is to contact the nearest UK Consulate or the Embassy in Washington.
