  • This name occurs in ancient Babylonian writings, as a possible extra planet, unable to be seen by the naked eye. But more recent re readings of the texts indicates that this is another name for Jupiter. Some cults and sects refer to it in their beliefs eg Theosophy. And it has turned up in a computer game recently.

  • No there is not. It was once hypothesized that there was a planet closer to the sun then Mercury. This was needed for the orbital dynamics of our system to work. Einstein proved that this planet was not needed. Isaac Asimov wrote a nice essay in his book "The Planet that wasn't" which discusses this.
