  • I think it happened in England. 'A WARRANT has been issued for a shoplifting Newton mum after she failed to attend Warrington Magistrates' Court for sentencing on Tuesday. Mother-of-four Pamela Williams, from Weedon Avenue, was banned from Marks and Spencer after she stole hundreds of pounds worth of items from the shop in Gemini retail park, Warrington. Earlier this month Warrington Magistrates' Court convicted the 37-year-old of stealing bottles of vodka worth £235. Williams, who has more than 20 convictions, asked the court to take two other offences into consideration at the same store - where £185.37 and £119.92 worth of items were taken earlier in July. The case was heard before a district judge who said that as she had a large number of previous convictions and it concerned a large amount of money, she had to consider a custodial sentence. Already banned from entering the store under a civil order, the defendant was banned by the court from entering any Marks and Spencer store while on bail.'
