Of course I would.
-
I agree with Admiral Sir John absolutely! Why not??? cooties?
-
absolutly...i would want someone to help me! :)
-
Absolutely! I do that on a regular basis. I always try to be helpful & am never discriminative.
-
I probably would if there was something I could do. Their culture, religion or social standing would have nothing to do with it.
-
yes of course. A person is a person regardless of race or social standing and if they were in need of assistance I would help in any way I could.
-
Yes,yes, and yes!
-
Yes their just as much of a person as I am. I am no better then they. And if I was in need of help. I would hope someone out there in this world would do the same. Or a least maybe make a cell phone call for help.
-
None of that has anything to do with me helping someone.
-
What has all that got to do with helping someone? If you will not extend a helping hand to someone because they are different, it says a heck of a lot about YOUR character.
-
I have and would continue to do so.
-
In South Africa, where I live, it simply is NOT an option. I will NEVER stop to assist anyone in this country. Some of the cultures here will put a real live baby in the middle of the road, when you stop to investigate, they kill you and your family and take your belongings. If ever you come to "beautiful South Africa" on holiday, be on guard and never go into townships for tours or the like, you never know when violence will erupt in there settlements.
-
Of course. Why would I not?
-
I would help him as long as he isn't packing an Uzi.
-
Why not? Should we even notice if there is a difference?
-
I don't think I would ask those question in the first place. "Hi, need help? Please fill out this application to see if you are worhty of me helping." "Ooh, I see you are hamster worshipper, sorry, not on my list of who I can help. Bye."
-
Race has little value to me... I definitely wouldn't base my decision on how different they were from me.
-
Any day....a person in need is just that....I do not judge others or pick and choose who I will help because of any difference or lack there of...
-
I have done so many times and i will continue to do so :)
-
Most definitely. It's those people that are of the same culture, religion and social standing that I try to stay away from! Just kidding, of course.
-
Yes, I would if requested. Have you ever remark how most people are helpful each time you need and ask for nothing ? But only if requested. One should never ask people in need of you to file a form first.
-
Yeah, and have done so before. Also, when I was younger, for some reason most of my friends were either Indians or black people. By hanging out with people like this for years, you realize just how much the word race or country barely seems to matter much. I'm also French, quite reputed for hating just about everyone but the French-apparently.
-
yea if it was a child the rest probably not unless they were in real danger...too much violence for me to just stop and help people any more
-
Yes i would, i consider my self racially/culturally blind, if a person needs help i will try to help to the best of my ability.
-
Yeah.
-
Sure.
-
Yes I would, because at the end of the day we're all the same HUMAN
-
Definitely , I did that & I am willing to do it again & again for aaaaaaaaaany person whatsoever
-
Honestly, it depends on what help they need and why they need it...no matter who they are
-
What does the culture or race have to do with needing help?? Of course I would help!!
-
Of course I would.....and I DO!!
-
Without a second thought!
-
Yes, of course I would. Why wouldn't I?
-
Of course I would and often have without even giving it a thought. I find this question somewhat contemptible,
-
Absolutely. Wouldn't you?
-
Of course and I often have....worked for a major airline for 31 years.
-
Sure. I have before and see no reason why I shouldn't again.
-
If I thought I could actually help, I would.
-
I have.
-
yes, I don't think it is a question of culture when a person needs help. this practice was outlawed in the US in the 1960's. prior to the civil rights act, blacks were often not provided public services, or they would arrive so late that the service was not needed. i am speaking of basic fire, police and ambulance service. to question this again would basically be trying to roll back the civil rights laws.
-
Yes.Show someone kindness and they will be more likely to pass it on.
-
i would have to say any decent person shouldn't think twice about helping somebody, regardless of what they look like or what they believe or any of that BS. a lot of people tell themselves they would but wouldn't. one instance that sticks out in my mind was after 9/11 happened, my friend akim and i were walking to class and out of nowhere this kid just socks him in the face. i started to beat this other kid a bunch, bashed his head into a locker and tried to help out my friend cuz he was bleeding pretty bad. i ended up getting a weeklong suspension for fighting even though that other jerk decided to punch akim. i figured he was targeted because he's muslim (he was an american citizen, so it pissed me off he was targeted)
-
yeah why wouldn't i
-
yeah
-
yeah
-
+5 People are people and are all human beings. I will stop to help anyone.
-
Yes. I have bought homeless people a cup of coffee at times, rather than giving them money for it. I try to be helpful, as much as I can. I believe in treating people the way I would want to be treated.
-
Absolutely!
-
How would I even know they were of a different culture, religion or social standing? I don't assume any of those factors based on looks. I help whenever, wherever, and whoever I can. I also use common sense about doing so when I am alone.
-
