My first name is John, and I am I beleive the 6th generation with this name. My uncle, cousin, second cousin, and nephew also have the same first and last.

my name is kiera and my mom is obsessed with history so 'kiera' is supposed to be the feminine form of 'syrus' and syrus was some persian emporer who would fight along his army instead of just giving orders. idk why she gave it to me, i think she just liked the name and liked the story behind it

Lindsay. I have no idea what my parents were drinking when they picked it. But I hate it. Even more so when I found out that they were going to name me Jessica or Sydney, which I like a lot more.

Samantha... There was a show on called "My sister Sam", and one of the cast members was murdered.. i think it was the one who played samantha, anyway.. my mom fell in love with the name.

Esther. I got it from my mom, and she got it from hers. Don't know why my great-granmother named my grandmother Esther, but she started a trend in the family, and my daughter is Esther too, and will eventually name her daughter Esther. We even managed to get all four generations together !! Thank goodness it's not a horrible name!!!
