  • Good question... we'd be pretty impervious to breakage, for sure. But, I would imagine diamond is a hell of a lot denser than bone. We'd probably be a lot heavier, and therefore considerably LESS strong.
  • There is a common misconception about diamonds. Many people think that because diamonds are hard they must also be strong. This is not the case. There is a very big difference between the two characteristics. Diamonds do resist scratching better than any other naturally occurring material. However, they are also quite brittle. This is because diamonds have planes of weakness in their structure (cleavage planes). This means that diamonds can actually break rather easily. I don't know this for certain, but I would not be a bit surprised if bones made of diamond would actually break more easily than bone does. That being the case, if we had diamond instead of bones, we would probably be weaker.
