I have a female friend who's almost 60. She dresses very sexy and carries herself well. She's very outgoing. I don't know if she's seeing a 20-something dude but I would not be surprised if a guy that age finds her attractive. Aside from her youthful looks, her positive attitude is so infectious! She's the life of the party.

well, like my grandparents still go to dinner out dancing, but it's usually with people closer to their own age. 50's or 60's. i'm not saying give up on life when you're 60+, i'm just saying that usually it's not a good reflection on you as a mature women to be flouncing around with younger people, pretending you still have something you don't. and i'm not saying that to be mean to anyone. like i said my mom tries to be "cool" and it only makes life more miserable for her. enjoy life, but do it the way you feel most comfortable. :]

i'm not one of those people to say "act your age". i'm really not dear. i just feel that lately, possibly because of myspace, etc our country's older men and women have taken the live it up view on things a little too far. i think age appropriate is up to you to decide. if you feel like you are able to get out there and be social and dance and sing and flounce...go for it. but my personal opinion, whether you feel it is right or wrong, is that women over 60 make an awful bad impression on the younger women when they act that way. i also don't know any men my age who would date a women that is 60+.

Hmmm. I came onto this late, but will put in my two cents. At 58 I dress sexy, am married to a younger man, hang out with bonafide rock stars and movie idiots, and pretty much do whatever the heck makes me happy. I am not sure about the 20 year old men. I do like conversation sometimes and so far, haven't met a 20 something that can pull that off with me. When do I think I'll grow up? When I am farting dust.
