    It's on the driver side frame rail. The connectors are simple push lock quick connects. Just un-snap them and pop the filter out of the bracket.

    Check out http://www.autozone.com They offer free online repair guide on their homepage and will likely have instructions, and maybe even a diagram or photo for your Ranger.

    Auto Zone wasn't a lot of help... unless you want a detailed descritpyion of how to drop your fuel take or undertake a mind-numbing analysis of the computerized aspect of the fueling system.
