It's not the question that is ignorant but, instead it is the questioner who is ignorant and therefore the reason for asking the question.

I was always told there's no such thing a stupid question...the only thing stupid is not to ask it at all. Ignorance isn't always bad, it just means you don't know something. And no one knows everything! How will you ever know the answers if you don't ask the questions?

No, they person answering, may be ignorant, or it could be a question, looking for an opinion, but the question is not ignorant.

Not all questioners are ignorant of the answer. Teachers and others are always asking questions they already know the answer to. A lot of people on AB ask questions they already know the answer to.
