  • Yes, but only if the family provides it. Funeral homes do not clothe the person with any garments other than what is supplied to them from the family.
  • ..and they usually take out anything metal (if being cremated) - so an underwired bra (to give uplift) wouldn't make it.
  • Two things my wife never went without, panties and a knee-pillow at night. When she passed away, I made sure she had both.

  • I'm late coming into this, but to answer the old question... if a family brings in underwear it is put on people. Most funeral homes that I know keep extra stockings and underwear to put on people if a family does not bring it in. Also, you can be cremated wearing anything you want, provided it doesn't have a battery (pacemaker) that could explode. I have cremated plenty of people wearing bras not tampered with, and even people with metal rods implanted in them, sometimes to be returned to the family afterward. That's how it works in Texas anyway...
