Ivory brand soap does. It's 99 and 44/100ths pure!

Some brands do..and some don't. It has to do with a chemical term called "saponification". Many commercial soaps have additives,..oils and skin softeners and scents that prevent their "floating" as more purely saponified soaps do.

Maybe only to a certain point in time. You think..what if the water isn't deep enough..and then think, if it's bar soap, when does it sink.

Most do not. Ivory does because they whip it and it gets lots of air in it. Feel it, it's lighter than other soaps. You are buying air when you buy that soap. But it is fun for kids or people that lose their soap in the murky depths:-)
