There are several "costs" depending on class of service and number of countries. Just last month I had a 2 country (Switzerland & France) 1st class ticket for $280 that I purchased online. I used it from Paris to Lyon to CapD"Agde to Lyon to Bern to Zurich. It takes some work but schedules can be made.
