Go to www.fox.com and view the latest episode of House. It dealt with this very thing.

Tell them to stop manipulating you. They don't own you. Therefore, they shouldn't act like they do. It seems to me like people have tried to put things in my boyfriend's head that aren't true and it's contributing to me feeling like he trusts them over me, even though he trusts me more. It's hard. If your s/o knows your friends are doing this, reassure ... reassure .. reassure! Is there anything worse than feeling like second best? Do you claim to love your s/o the most? If so, I think your s/o should come first.
-
I had this happen. The S/O will more than likely think he is the cause of any issues you have with your friends. They don't sound like true friends actually. They seem to be messing with your happiness.
-
My "friends" wouldn't do that. It would be an easy decision to balance my time out, if they were telling me things that wasn't true.
-
wanting you to not forget them is understandable but to go as far as to make up lies about your bf then that just wrong.talk to them about what they are saying and why.
-
If these were really your friends, they would not be trying to drive a wedge between you and your s/o in the first place. You have the right to spend your time with whomever YOU choose. If your "friends" don't like that, get better friends.
