  • Yes. Rabbits shed their fur.
  • Yes. Rabbits will normally shed late spring and summer.
  • Yes and as I wrote in another answer: Rabbits will shed every three months, though they don't always shed heavy each time. You will be able to tell when they are doing a heavy one and then the next one will most likely be a light one. Some rabbits shed all their hair at once....very convenient! But others take up to 2 weeks to finish their molt.
  • They're land mammals so yes they shed their hair, especially in the hairy rodent division.
  • Yes they do. They clean themselvs just like cats. They may get what you might call "hair-ball." You can help this from happening by dampening your hands then petting your bunny. The loose fur will stick to your hands and you can just wash that off. Hope I was some help! =)
