  • I generally am afraid of the shadows of the dark coming alive in a form and not being able to escape.
  • i started one myself many years ago but gave up because I didn't think my vocabulary of the english language was extensive enough. i chose a modern vampire story with a risque love triangle included. a salem's Lot style story.
  • Read John Coyne's book "Hobgoblin" And do a much better job. It will not be very hard to do better. It might give you some ideas.

  • Well, I get a lot of my ideas for stories in dreams. Not much about mansions, but lots of weird stuff. I keep a notepad by the side of my bed and jot them down as soon as I wake up. Most are useless, but occasionally they turn into workable story ideas...
  • What scares me is darkness, sudden (invisible) movements, and the obvious fear of dinosaurs. I mean, really, who isn't afraid of that Big, Bad Dino?!?!
  • Nightmares about something. And then experiencing it in real life. And finding out it's not like you thought. Life is fine and peaceful. And then you have another nightmare about it. (send royalty checks to 123 ELM St, Anytown, USA).
