  • Roe Vs Wade was an abortion issue wasnt it? LOL
  • If dogs can dance, than shouldn't velcro fly? Your question has no logic.
  • Hrm, let's see. Roe vs Wade only affects the USA, so we'd have to discount any research on this topic in the rest of the world. It's quite a large topic, covering fuels, motors, aerodynamics, materials science, economics of production, pilot training, legal ramifications and implementation of law, vehicle infrastructure and support. It's certainly possible that a few of those unborn folk would have been geniuses, but incredibly unlikely that they'd add up to all the necessary coming together, interaction with other people, organisational changes, and scientific developments necessary to have flying cars. Possibly we're further behind in other areas of study, we'll never really know. Are the people who ended up having abortions better off for it? There are many other impacts to Roe vs Wade, in both directions. Are flying cars that important? How are the lives of the people who had abortions affected, and the people who know them? Is it just the missing people that are the important factor, or all the other knock-on effects as well? In his book 'Freakonomics', Steven Levitt put forward a connection that angered many people. It's easy to understand why, as well: he proposed that legalised abortion reduces crime, based on the regression analysis that showed a connection between certain age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds, and 'unwanted' children being more likely to commit crimes, and the sudden drop in the crime rate that occurred nearly two decades after Roe vs Wade. That seems very wrong to me, intuitively and emotionally, but I can understand his point intellectually. I have no idea whether it's true or not. One could take it as a lesson in how each event has long term effects that people aren't really capable of calculating.
  • Man, if I had a child for every time I've heard that....and I DON'T! Thank you, Roe v. Wade!
  • That is the only logical result.
  • No we'd have a lot more people to feed and a lower standard of living.
  • Haha. Yes I believe flying cars could have been invented, we will never know however.
  • FLYING CARS WILL BE OUT IN 2010 KMOWN AS THE AIRCAR.
