  • You cannot reverse the decaying process once it has started. What you do need to do is get it taken care of as soon as you find it. Once it gets into the dentin (2nd layer of tooth, it can spread rapidly because the dentin is a lot softer than the enamel.
  • No, there's no way to reverse it. Brushing your teeth, flossing, and garguling with mouthwash does not help.
  • Before its not too late it is indeed. Enamel can repair itself by using minerals from saliva, and fluoride from toothpaste or other sources.
