The post office has done a pretty good job. UPS refuses to put packages where we want. They insist on placing it next door or at the end of our driveway instead of driving here. FedEx has sent our items clear across the sate to the wrong state! But I have been pleasantly surprised with the consistent quality from DHL.

USPS is cheaper, except for MAYBE next day. ALL of them offer next day, but you DO pay for it. If it can get there in 2-5 days instead of TOMORROW, and pretty much can fit into an regular envelope, USPS. If it can't, probably USPS. I consider the others as "specialty shipping".

UPS They never fail me. +5 for the question!

Well DHL had attempted to beat everyones prices, and spared no expense regarding customer service in correcting problems. They went under. USPS keeps raising rates as they are struggling with costs in a big way, and at least for me, their service leaves alot to be desired. I had a fedex package delivered by a guy that couldn't speak my language, which is the native language where i live. UPS has always been good to deal with both shipping&receiving. I vote UPS.

It's got to be the USPS!

UPS then USPS. I'm not big on Fedex or DHL - and I avoid them when I can.

Whilst i am cheap and usually use the regular postal service, i must admit how impressed i was when a mate of mine sent me a package using FedEx from USA to Australia. I was impressed when i entered the tracking number on the website how thorough and exact the delivery and pick up times were and such. FED EX ARE GREAT FOR SENDING IMPORTANT OBJECTS/DOCUMENTS, BELIEVE ME! +4.
