But when in doubt it never hurts to follow the instructions written within the package for the pills. If it says to drink a full glass of water then you probably should. It probably has to do with helping the pill break down in your system so it can be absorbed easier, or it could be to make sure that the pill doesn't upset your stomach. Usually its the first one, because in medication that upsets your stomach pharmacists usually recommend taking it with food or milk.
If the pills don't have some sort of directions included just ask your pharmacist when you pick up your pills next, they should be more than happy to answer any questions you have about your medication, its their job. :)
There is no need to drink a full glass , just take sufficent sips as much as you want to swallow the pill completely.

im suppose totake my pill at the same time everyday but i always miss it but i always take it within the hour, will it still work

You're right, but you don't sound like you know that. Nausea is in fact a common side effect of the pill.
