Most of all hurt words written on the stone that hits you.

Initially, physical pain will hurt more. In the long run, it's emotional. So, I'd have to say words--unless the words were infantile and the stone were sharp and pointed. Some comments, I can brush off. But, it's also easier to ignore emotional pain. There! Now I've given you something to think about.
-
words, because words stink with you for a long time. And physical hurts can healed. But always remember words stick to others

Words hurt more--they last a lifetime.

Sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will kick your heart's ass and throughly mutilate it...

hurtful words are stones. We have the power to speak life into anyones life , a situation. A blessing to someone. And we can take it away with the wrong words. Words are so powerful so we all need to use them wisely.
-
Words (with the actions to reinforce them).
-
words. My parents were very verbally abusive growing up and my mom still is. I heard everything from "you are a failure" to " I wish you had never been born".. to this day, I have very low esteem, I have atttempted suicide at least 40-50 times in 20 years. I became suicidal at 13. I can't keep a job or a relationship or a friendship because I feel I am not worthy of anyone's love. I have said many times that I wish my parents would have just physically beat me, those wounds have healed..the emotional abuse has left scars that I will never recover from
-
uhhhh depends on how hard the person chunking the rocks can throw
-
Words they go deeper then rocks do!
-
Words can be as deadly as arrows or guuns. Once something is said it can never be taken back. Eventually an abrasion from a stone will heal in time.
-
Depends on who is throwing them.
-
physically stones, unless the person is yelling into your ear with a megaphone. in the long run, words can cause emotional harm that can last a lifetime.
