What could be making my exhaust produce smoke on my 1999 Plymouth Grand Yoyager?

    If this a white/bluish smoke? Is this a 4 cylinder model? The 4 cylinder models are notorious for burning out rings and head gaskets... Too much weight for a little engine to push so people tend to push harder on the gas.

    How many miles on your speedometer? a head gasket could be blown, the oil rings need to be replaced, a number of possibilites.

    If you have a high-mileage vehicle, it may be better to buy another car, than to spend more money on this vehicle. repairs may cost more than your car is worth.

    See a mechanic, to be sure.
