Advantages: Best product at the lowest price wins. IE; the xbox 360 is just good enough, It may not compete with the ps3 but it is priced better so it has sold more units. Products get cheaper as the ability to manufacture gets easier. Disadvantages: As the government meddles and attempts to control the economy, it causes economic strife. A countries interests aren't taken care of, in a free market you vote with your dollars. If there is a russian speaking client base, you learn to speak russian. Doesn't work well for services such as health care. Why would a doctor fix you properly, if she could treat you just well enough and keep you coming back. corruption.
