Good answers get points. I do appreciate good grammar however. I'm a lenient kind of guy. If I know the person well, I might point it out to them as a little friendly tip.
-
Absolutely not everyone is a perfect speller but their answers count as much as anyones.
-
If the answer is eloquent and well presented I prefer it but I don't mind answers poorly written, as long as I can understand the point being put across
-
Yes I realize not everyone is at the same level of intellect. anyone answers my questions gets all the points I can give unless they are just mean to me then I give them nothing.
-
We give'em point! This is an informal setting. We F* up all the time,The only time that we worry about spelling,is when it's school related. Some people take life too serious!
-
Some people just have bad grammar for one reason or another. If they answer your question with a decent answer, I wouldn't give them negative points. If I don't like an answer, I'd rather give them no points than neg. points.
-
Unless they have been offensive I always give points. And I try to thank everyone for answering.

I am not the Grammar Police..I think it is very rude to correct someone's grammar or spelling unless that person has requested that you do so. I give everyone who answers a question my maximum points..that protects me and them from my being unfair..I don't reward friends and I don't reward those whose answers agree with mine..I am totally impartial..my views are given in my comments, not in the points given! :)

Grammar doesn't matter. If they tried their best to answer well, then it's okay by me. If they used all caps I might mention something to them but still give them points.
-
Absolutely! If the question is understandable and I think I can contribute an answer, I always give points. Possibly, English is not the asker's first language. There are a lot of nationalities on here.

As long as I can understand without much effort what they are saying, I don't have any problem with that. I would also certainly forgive small errors such as "recieve" instead of "receive" without pointing at them. If I happen not to give a feedback for an answer, it is usually because I did not get a notification about that answer.
-
Yes. This isn't English class, and people should stop acting like it is. Well, that's my opinion.
-
Yes:) I sometimes use different spellings and abbreviations but have heard how much some people hate that and it's their biggest pet peeve so now I try to watch it. I don't see what the big deal is. Seriously.
