the fact that your handicapped shouldnt have anything to do with the case.

if it is law that your supposed to give way when reversing out of a park (as it is here) then unless you can prve he was speeding (as in other answer look for video of parking lot) then i'm sorry you gunna have to cop it?

It's the same as running into someone who stops suddenly -- by default you get a ticket for "Following too close." D'oh! The person behind must maintain a safe following distance.

When backing, you must yield to cars already in the lane of traffic. You didn't yield. Therefore, by definition you caused it.

usually in parking lots there are camera's if you can get the tape and show it in court to prove that you innocent your good. If there are no camera's see if there are any witnesses. If not then get a good lawyer thats all i can say. srry i cant give any better advice. GOOD LUCK!!!

On "Private Property" the Police have no Vehicular Jurisdiction for "Accidents". I'm wondering how the "HE_L" U even got them to respond, taunt them with Donuts??? Witnesses or "He said She said"??? Damage to his/her Front Quarter Panel or Side or Rear Quarter Panel??? Where were U hit??? How far backed out were U when U got Hit??? Were they driving into Sun Light??? Beware, "Minor Damage" will "Total" many of Todays cars & his "Injuries" will multiply when he talks to Ur Insurance & his Lawyer!!! Look up his/hers "Driving Record", any more problems like this??? Ck. to make SURE he has Insurance because if he doesn't, he is at Fault Automatically when he turned the key!!!
