  • I think it's a good idea but i just couldn't do it. My car is my livelihood, i need it to work. I have a mobile business and a part time job that involves driving to peoples houses all over the state. I couldn't live without petrol for any amount of time.
  • It's useless If everyone were to boycott gasoline for one day, the next day gas stations would be twice as busy as everyone would be filling up they're empty tanks.
  • Sure I would.
  • Absolutely, if we could get a MAJORITY of the people to take part! The best idea I have seen, so far, is the one where the people TOTALLY stop buying one brand for a month or 2, then another brand, then another ... I'd definitely take part in a good, sensible idea!
  • YEAH! Although I wouldn't have any effect on it, I travel by train and bike..
  • Yes, I would, but that would require quitting my job and all activities for my kids (baseball for instance). My only real gas use is to work - 30 miles round trip a day. The only answer for most employed office people is to telecommute, which I would gladly do given the opportunity.
  • I already do, in a way. I live about 10 minutes away from work, so I walk every day. I really only use the car once a week to do shopping. However, it's pretty difficult to quit driving completely as most American cities are too large and don't provide adequate public transportation.
