Ive somehow got into a situation where Ive got first dates arranged with 2 people. Havent met either but intuition strongly towards one. Should I meet them both or call one off?

First dates? Go on both, no harm in that. No need in calling one off before you even give them the chance.

I'd put them both in a pit and have them fight to the death. Winner, gets a date with you.

It's just a first date, not a commitment. Go on both. You may find that once you get to spend time with both of them you'll change your mind. Either way, you don't have to go on a second date if you don't click.

Meet them both! There's nothing against casually dating multiple people...particularly if it's just two first dates. You never know, the one you're inclined towards may turn out to be a total jerk, and the other one could be the one you've always dreamed about :) Give them both a shot. And as far as the one you turn down being disappointed...sorry, but that's simply a risk you take in dating. They'll bounce back. Have fun on your dates!
