  • Said it before, I'll say it again. 1-Cryus is an annoying little fad that I hope crashes and burns one day. Really, I really do. 2-That underwear add was...Disturbing to say the least. 3-Look at these pictures, tell me what the difference is (besides that one looks like a very ugly vampire.) They are the same Cyrus.
  • I agree with JTP's last point. The picture wasn't risque in what it showed. It looked disturbing because the lighting or the editing made her look so pale, with such dark lipstick and dark makeup, that it didn't look natural. Had her colouring, etc, looked natural, the picture would have been fine. Instead, it looked like a little girl trying to be an adult, or forced to be an adult and that's the only disturbing element. It wasn't a good picture. It could have been, but it wasn't. If it was meant to be art, it missed the mark. If it was meant to be statement art, then it didn't make a clear statement. Putting it against a picture of her in a dress like that, that makes a statement. As it is, it's just not a very good picture. As for Disney's hypocrisy? I'm more surprised when they aren't hypocrites. When the mother doesn't die/is dead in the beginning of the movie, totally unnecessarily. When they don't use children, pump them for all the money they are worth and then let them go. And you think Disney doesn't use kids? Let's use an example of a different kind. How many people think that Miley really wanted to spend her 16th birthday at Disneyland, talking to reporters, spending time with fans, and performing for them? Anyone? How many people think Disney made a ton of money of her birthday and that at best, she was paid a performance, or appearance fee? The ad in China? Disturbing but somehow not at all surprising.
