  • The plug is behind the lower transmission mount, I removed my 3 bolts for the mount to get a better view, anyway you either need to jack the car up high or use a lift, I grinded a 3/8 extension to make the tool to remove it. You must have the car running and warmed up to check it, shift thru the gears, then put it back into park, remove the plug (while running) and fill to it comes out, then put the plug back in (still running), and you should be good. Make sure you use the correct transmission fluid. This really is a pain in the butt, however you have no other option other than taking into a dealership.
