  I saw the movie never say never again for the first time last night. in it a woman gets blown up and all we see are her smoking shoes left behind. why does this happen so many times in movies etc when someone gets blown up and why is it considered funny?

I am going to feel bad if we go without him but also if we don't go at all. My girlfriend, her daughter, and my mother are really looking forward to the trip and still want to go. Should we not go?
