Did you lick the steering wheel or something? How long ago did you drive the car after they got sick? Some Viruses can't survive very long out in the open, so you have to be in immediate contact with a person to catch anything.

Chicken pox is a air born virus its a droplet infection so yes if there are droplets in the air inside the car and you breath it in you can catch it.
