Yes I do. I loved going for a double feature and bringing our own food. Sitting in the back of a truck was fun on an old couch with blankets. Talking with other people sitting outside. Even the crappy sound was fun.

Yes, we have one near here and go a few times each summer. A lot of fun especially for the kids.

Yes. In the small town that I grew up in, the only theater open in the summer was the drive-in. We had so much fun. People would hide in the car trunk to sneak in. I never did because there were plenty of jokesters and the trunk wasn't always opened right away once the car was inside the drive-in. As one of the other ABers mentioned, sitting outside and talking, seeing who all was there, bringing in your own snacks, the crappy little speakers all made it fun. I especially enjoyed the ads for the snack bar (like in the drive-in scene in the movie 'Grease') and the warning not to drive away with the speaker still in your car window.
