  • No, because it leads to yet more losses in personal freedom. Those opposed to the government hope that the continued erosion to personal freedom will eventually cause an uprising by ordinary citizens that will end the rule of the government they oppose. Having said that -- controversial surveillance cameras installed in Vancouver, Canada were used to bust hooligans that caused a fair bit of mayhem at a crowded public event one year. Nobody ever complained about the cameras again after that.
  • Not really. They should have more surveillance cameras installed in churches to help catch the pedophile monsters that lurk around these places.
