  • Well depending on where you live and what country this might be the only option. There may well be no ambulance and the response time may well be poor.
  • He might have thought that he could get her there quicker.Which could very likely be true.
  • I'm sure in many places that's a faster option than waiting for the ambulance. So...it depends on where they were at I guess.
  • He will make it their faster, than waiting for an ambulance, he can also pull over and do CPR, as needed.
  • I would think he was like most of us and was not considering a lot of options at the moment. An ambulance takes awhile to get to you, and driving might just be faster.
  • We live in the rural area and have not gotten 911 addresses yet, so it would be quicker to drive them in ourselves. He was also probably really freaked out and it was in the heat of the moment sort of thing, you know not thinking too clearly because he was scared silly the child wasn't breathing.
