  • That depends upon how good of a friend YOU are. I have risked many friendships over the years in efforts to help my friends.
  • yeah i would because I wouldn't care if the friend hated me or not.
  • If I thought they were in some kind of danger from their use then yes I would, friends look after friends all the time not just when it is a nice thing to do
  • I would help my friend get the help they obviously need for their addiction. I wouldn't go behind their back because just telling someone wont sort the problem out. The person has to genuinely want help. I have been in this position recently
  • I have. It was not easy. But in my mind, if you truly care for someone, it is worth the risk of losing them because if they do not stop you will definitely lose them.
  • I don't think there is anything wrong with experimenting. You only live once-- BUT if their lives start going down hill- No job, Debt, Bumming around, slacking, not taking responsibilty-- then I think you should say something. Set them down and tell them that the only reason you're doing that, is because you care. They'll thank you in the end.
  • If I really love my friend I would tell. It is better that my friend hate me for the rest of his life than to die an addict. At least I will have the comfort of knowing my friend is alive and if he does die at least my conscience as a friend is clear I did what a real friend does even if it hurts.
