I never heard of it. I don't generally believe in silence because silence can stifle justice and dissent and I believe that those have a legitimate place in civil society. Can you explain this day?

Its April 25 of every year. I participated in it this year and plan to continue doing so from now on if possible. I had to stop when we visited my grandparents later in the day this year though. I wore the shirt though. Its amazing how many people will be mean about it. I had multiple kids in my class though we are all amazingly tight and they are moral and mature most of the time, make mean comments.Even though none of them have anything wrong with being gay. If they put their minds to it they could understand but so many of them would be like "Why isn't it no communication day instead of no silence?" "Whats the point?" or (annoys one of us in some way) "Use your words". It was crazy, three of us did it and most of the girls stood up to us though and interpreted but this is the third year members of my class have done it and still they got that. Just shows how much intolerance there is to face.
