I've been saying for like 15 years that Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is the best movie EVER!! While the Johnny Depp version was true to the book, unline the original, it wasn't as good. It seemed rushed once they made it into the factory. It was cool using the one guy as an Oompa Loompa, and the dance sceenes were better in the latter version, but I liked the original much better. That movie, and The Breakfast Club, both left the door wide open for a sequal which neither chose to do. Always wondered "What now?" at the end of both movies?

I never saw the new one and I watched the old one a LONG time ago. From the ads and talk, I think the old one is better...more of a classic, but I wouldn't be able to tell unless I saw it.
