Well....If you mean in a concealed carry sense of thing, and the legal use of lethal force.. Any good school educating people in these areas will help you learn handle your weapon, but more importantly they should be teaching you "conflict avoidance" so you hopefully will never have to use it. Remember it's not self defense if you cause things to esculate, because you think having a gun makes you safer. Most people can learn to shoot, but never learn to react to the life/death situation pychologically. Many people freeze, and can't pull the trigger, and end up a victim anyway. I would suggest learning conflict avoidance rather than worry about which weapon you'd use.

This is too easy, sig sapr w/ 2.5-12x45 nikon scope, bipod and supressor; sig 226 tactical with supressor, and a 7 inch d2 steal fighter k-bar while wearing the proper digital camo bdu for the suroundings. That would be my ideal combat situation for firearms, you guess where I want to be if that ever happens.

mini bushmaster 223 As a tactical weapon it is compact and works well in tight spots. But yet it can still be used for short range percision shooting.
