I've had the same exact thing happen to me.. I also use DVD+R.. In my case I've found that sometimes the burn process just fails. No reason why... it just fails. When this happens I burn at a slower speed and it works. Its worth a shot if you still don't know what exactly is going wrong each time.

The max storage for a DVD+r disc is 4.7gb, and when you burning the disc with 4.55gb movie, it generated addtional few gb to the disc,which just about to exceed the max storage. We all know the DVD+R is a one time write disc, in order to save your money for the disc, DVD+R9 is recommeded.
