I an say that it will not hurt in the tip department. Is it normal.. depends on the bar you are in. lol HOOTERS well not the best food but I have heard the scenery can make up for that.

It's standard practice for some (or perhaps even most) female bartenders, but I suppose it depends on the class of place they're working in, and simply how the particular bartender conducts herself. If you're a woman working in say... a sports bar full of men, then being a little... Erm, "Flirtatious" in your dress and conduct will *Definitely* help bring in more tips. But I'm sure there are some female bartenders, even working in that kind of establishment, who try to earn their money through bartending alone. And on the other hand, if you're working as a bartender in a higher-end, more sexually diverse establishment, dressing scantily is: A- Sometimes inappropriate. B- Often just as likely to make some customers tip *Less* than they normally might.
