There are Four mane food groups, Bread and cereals which contain carbohydrtes B group vitamins and some protien. They help with energy, the nervous system and protien helps with muscles. Meat and dairy contain protien and calcium wich helps muscles and bones And also Iron which keeps your blood healthy. Fruit and veg contain mainly vitamin c, but can contain vitimin A. Oils and fats they contain A and D wich helps eye sight and help with coating your bodies cells I.E blood cells. Trace minerals and vitamins come from a mixture of the above food groups like selenium and vitimin K.Nuts also contain trace minerals and protien.
