  • My hair is naturally curly too. I used to have this problem until I got the proper straightening iron. You need one that is ceramic, made of tourmeline plates and emits negative ions(keeps down frizz)I use a Isinis, and I got it off ebay for about $40 brand new. Its amazing! You should try it.
  • I agree with Jennyb. You def. need to get a really goooood straightener. I own a Chi. They can be mighty expensive tho...I think mine was $125.
  • It depends on how long and how much force you're putting into it. My hair is the same way. Here's what I do: 1. Shampoo and condition 2. Towel dry my hair while heating the iron 3. Make sure the iron is at least on the middle amount of heat 4. Divide my hair into sections (at least 4) 5. Starting in the back,I oil the piece then I iron the piece of my hair as if i'm bumping it. ( if it curls, continue and brush the curl out) 6. Do this step two or three times to make really straight 7. At night, wrap hair and put on a loose fitting satin cap before going to sleep 8. In the morning, the wrap will most likely be messed up but your hair will be straight and yes this works for people with long hair
