Birds don't become pregnant. They may lay an egg if they are female but without a male African gray, it won't be fertile.

AG's do not become sexually mature until the age of about 5 or 6 years. Laying an egg will also depend on them individually. If you have a single female you should not encourage egg laying. If you're referring to a pair. this depends on whether they are compatible. Like you & I, they will not reproduce if they are not compatible or don't like each other. Some that are compatible but are quite new to this can take a while to get it right.
