  • I had a similiar problem. After awhile the pain was constant. Ice relieved the pain. Of course I couldn't work at my job with an ice pack strapped to my knee,so I had it checked out by an orthopedic Dr. My problem was worn down cartlidge. Fortunatley the problem was remedied by 6 wks of physical therapy. It may be that if the pain persists, it needs to be checked out.
  • I have the same issue. Intermittent shooting pain. Lasts approx 20-30 seconds, then gone. Happens anywhere from 1-5 times per day. Feels like electric shocks.
  • I don't know exactly where it is, but it may be your sciatic nerve. You may need an adjustment from a chiropractor. Try that before a regular doctor. they usually just give you expensive prescriptions for pain pills and take even more expensive x-rays that they do nothing about. Chiroprators are amazing! :)
