  • ... unfortunately, I don't think so. Except for maybe your kids...
  • Call your local sheriff's department. See if the drug sniffing dogs can sniff large amounts of money. Drug dealers usually have large amounts of cash, so you never know if they are trained to smell money.
  • If you have home owners or renters insurance, some policies cover loss of cash, although it's typically for a relatively low amount usually $500-$1000 max. Beware of insurance fraud though...I'm just saying...

  • I learned this from one one of my childhood friends: I don't think it matters what religion you are or what your beliefs may be, but here's what I do [by the way, I'm not Catholic]: After looking just about everywhere for whatever it is I'm not able to find, I finally "throw in the towel" and start my search - in earnest - for whatever it is I lost or misplaced. I begom by saying the following out loud: "Saint Anthony, Saint Anthony, PLEASE come around. Something is lost and cannot be found. I lost my _______." (I say whatever it is I lost or misplaced So far (about 50 years), Saint Anthony hasn't let me down. It's worth the try - especially for such a nice sum - don't you think? Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed doing my best to answer it - or at least offer a suggestion. VTY, Ron Berue Yes, that is my real last name! Sources: My next door neighbor, Craig H. I probably did this over 100 times. It never failed!

  • Write a letter, to God, to yourself, a deceased loved one, just write it down and ask for the answer to come to you in a dream. I know it sounds like an idiotic idea but at times it works. I have done it as well as other family members. maybe it's a family thing but maybe it isn't. My husband and I lost money in our place before, neither wrote a letter, we just forgot about it and a couple of months later, he opened a drawer that we open just about everyday and it was there, stuck between the drawer and the back of the drawer in the same envelope. My cousin lost a ring that her mother gave her, it drove her to the point of seeing a therapist who advised her to write a letter to her mother - she found the ring a couple of weeks later.
  • For $1199 I'll come sniff it out.
  • quit looking for it and then you'll find it! And you know what: you'll find it in the last place you'll look! Someone else told me that when I couldnt' find my safety deposit key and he was right! :-)
  • No, but any good hound dog could.
