  • No i dont think so. If you care for him, then i think the trick is to make yourself available to him. Dont push yourself on him or anything, but make sure he knows you are there if needed and let him make a decision about what he needs from you. And dont take it personally if he chooses to work this out on his own. some people just do...and thats ok if its their way of coping. But he might want your help and not know how to ask for it. And avoiding him (even if you are doing it with good intentions) makes it even harder for him to confide in you. Let him know you're there if he needs you, but its ok if he doesn't.
