How much daily personal/play/outside the cage time would you say is the minimum a happy ferret needs? I wonder if I'm too busy to have one as a pet.

I always let my ferrets roam the house during the day, but had specific rooms blocked from them. They were only in their cage at night. You do need to make time for your fur baby, though, and snuggle with him/her, play, and socialize them. Two ferrets are better than one! If you don't have time for a ferret, then don't get one. If you don't have the time to play, love, and snuggle, then it's best to get a fish. Ferrets are social creatures and they love their humans.

As much time out of the cage as possible. I let my little girl out whenever i can. But i think the minimum would be about maybe three hours. but the more tme the better.
