when you say everything do you mean everything or just your material things? Would you still have family and friends or just memories? please explain more.

I have lost everything a couple of times in my younger years, material possessions. None of which I miss . I kept my sanity and with that was able to restart my life, which has turned for the better because of my losses. Sometimes to save the ship you have to toss the baggage. At times like that you really start to understand what is important in life.

Well, by nature if I lost everything I'd be left with nothing. That's self-explanatory- is it a trick question? If you mean what would I be left with if I lost my material things- I suppose the ability (or oppurtunity even) to start all over again- and maybe do it better.

self respect, the ability to love, the knowledge that I have made comebacks before and will again

Creativity. Thoughts. Ability to interpret thoughts and everything else around me. Freedom to chose how to view my situation. Freedom to decide how I would change it. Freedom to endeavour to do so. Connectivity with the rest of the universe. An uncluttered life. Time to reflect on what value really is.

If I lost every single thing BUT my life? I would still have my inner thoughts, my cheerful disposition, I'd have my memories, I would have my dignity, I would still have my hard-working stick-to-it attitude... and I would still be ME! That, in itself, is very valuable. :)

life, because none of the stuff means anything anyway if you're dead. So if you are still breathing, you made it! wooohooo! each day you wake up is your chance to do better, get it right, or start over.

I can answer this question, because I have lost everything..except for a small suitcase with enough clothes for myself and two children. I was visiting my mom for the weekend and while I was gone my house burned to the ground. Then as now, I didn't/wouldn't lose anything of REAL value as long as I have family and friends. Losing all your material possessions is hard, losing things which have sentimental value is a lot harder, but it happens sometimes and you just have to put it behind you, move on and start over. If you have your family, your friends, your life and the strength and determination to start again, you have everything of value.

I will have my friends, family and amazing girlfriend. My mom always says that "nothing in this world is so important that time and/or money can't fix"

My mind, my thoughts, my beliefs and a new start.

Money is just a piece of paper(a very pretty piece of paper)that can never satisfy the human heart. I still have a strong heart and a right mind and with those i would rebuild my life.

The only thing I ever really had. The soul.

The only thing of real value - my life. If I was to loose that - all else I own or have ever owned would be worthless.

If I were to lose all material possessions,I'd still have the most important thing;the loving relationship with my lady Meghan. +4

If you die,you can't change anything.. but if you live and try, something definitely gonna change and let's pray it's towards the positive side.. have faith in God cause He never give burdens heavier than what you can carry

If you have hit rock bottom, then the only way to go is up! Pick yourself up, pray, and celebrate the good things you've had in your life and that have shaped the person you're today. Make new friends, the kind that will support you in overcoming the past or learning to live a new life. If you don't climb the mountain, you will not get to see the view. It's worth the journey. Good luck to you. Here's a quote: Consult not your fears, but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do. - Pope John XXI

My life skills and my own life.
-
I did lose everything that mattered and you realise that material things do not mean very much . Your memories are the most important thing.

My wife has asked for a divorce several times and I would do all I can to make sure that she will have nothing as I would bankrupt the house and quit my job. I will be able to live with my sons and she will be out on the streets. So if I lost everything I would still value having my children.
